Brandon is a scientist and engineer by profession, but has also been a real estate investor for 6+ years. He has a master’s degree in molecular biology, and is currently pursuing his PhD in bioengineering. He has 2 patents and 15+ published research articles. He has also raised over $1,400,000 in funding to support his research. Outside of science & engineering, he has a passion for investing, venture capital, and real estate development. He currently owns multiple properties in California.

Ricardo is a realtor and real estate investor with 15+ years of experience. During his career he has syndicated multiple real estate investment projects in California, as well as overseen a multitude of complex real estate transactions such as short-sales and REOs, especially following the market crash in 2008. Ricardo also leads investor relations at the AdTech startup WidgetX.co. He is the former director of the National Association of Realtors. CaDRE# 01480350

Lead Project Manager & Engineer
Ryan recently graduated from CSU Long Beach with a bachelor’s degree in engineering. He now works full time with Stay California to lead construction projects and develop marketing campaigns. Also check out his woodworking and craftsmanship skills on display in the custom-built furniture throughout our projects.

Business Consultant
Layla is the founder of College Advising Prep, a leading tutoring and educational company in the Bay Area. She has both MBA and EdD degrees and serves as a business consultant for Stay California. She also assists with interior design and customer relations.

Consultant & Project Manager
Emiliano is a biotechnology researcher, but also helps Stay California raise capital and manage projects. He received his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and cell biology from UC San Diego.

Senior Advisor
Al is a serial entrepreneur and seasoned real estate investor with experience in a multitude of real estate syndications and partnerships. He initially founded Allied Riser Communication, which IPO’d in 1999. He is now the Founder and CEO of a new AdTech startup called WidgetX.co

Legal Consultant
Keith is the principal at The Kline Law Firm and helps Stay California with legal consultation. He received his bachelor’s from Yale, master’s from Stanford, and JD from Santa Clara University.

Marketing Consultant
Ilianna works as a senior marketing specialist at CBRE Commercial Real Estate Investing, but also helps Stay California with marketing materials and campaigns. She received her bachelor’s degree in public relations from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
